The Math centre was founded elsewhere in 1947 and later shifted
to its present premises.
The Mission centre was started in 1951.
Activities of the Math centre :
Worship and bhajans every day, weekly classes, spiritual retreats
and occasional lectures.
Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother
Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other spiritual
luminaries.
Ramakrishna Balavrinda, a Sunday school for 138 children.
Personality development workshops, summer camps and cultural
competitions in essay-writing, elocution, etc for youths.
Activities of the Mission centre :
A boys’ home with 62 students.
A charitable homoeopathic dispensary, which treated 4076 cases.
A library with 8300 books and 50 periodicals.
A free coaching centre with 152 students.
Welfare work by way of distributing milk and biscuits to poor
children, and providing scholarships, books and other educational
aids to poor students and pecuniary help to poor and meritorious
students as well as patients.
