Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, former President of India, visited Bangalore Math on 31 May and released the book A Concise Encyclopaedia of Hinduism (in three volumes, by Swami Harshananda).  Swami Prabhanandaji, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, presided over the function.
