Ramakrishna Math, Bamunmura

Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Bamunmura, was founded in 1963. It was taken over by the Math in 2007, and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Math’. It functioned as a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math, Barasat, until it became a full-fledged branch in 2015.
Activities:

1. A public library.

2. A homeopathic-cum-allopathic dispensary.

3. Eye camps with treatment and cataract surgeries.

4. Units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.

5. Religious activities: Daily worship, religious discourses, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, occasional spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious luminaries, and major religious festivals.

6. Welfare activities: Providing pecuniary and medical aid.
