Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Bamunmura, was founded in 1963. After it was taken over by Ramakrishna Math in 2007, its name was changed to ‘Ramakrishna Math’. The centre functioned as a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math, Barasat, until it became a full-fledged branch in 2015.

- A public library
- A homeopathic-cum-allopathic dispensary
- Eye camps
- Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa
- A non-formal education centre.
- Religious activities: Daily worship, religious discourses, occasional spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious luminaries, and major religious festivals.
- Welfare activities: Providing pecuniary and medical aid.
