Founded in 1957, the ashrama was taken over by the Ramakrishna Math in 2004 and was made a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math, Cooch Behar. It was made a full-fledged branch in 2015.

Activities:

  1. A primary school (pre-nursery to 5).

  2. A public library.

  3. Welfare activities: Distribution of food, hygiene kits, mosquito nets, and educational kits.
