Ramakrishna Math, Cooch Behar

Formerly known as Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, this centre was started in 1937 in East Bengal (now Bangladesh) and moved to its present premises in 1949. It was made a branch of the Ramakrishna Math in 2003.

  • A homeopathic dispensary. A cleft lip medical camp.

  • Vocational training in tailoring.
  • A computer training centre.
  • A unit of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
  • A unit of Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
  • Values education programmes for school & college students.
  • Vivekananda study circle for youths.
  • A public library with.
  • Welfare activities: Providing clothes, educational kits and pecuniary aid.
  • Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, Regular religious classes, spiritual retreats and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other spiritual personalities, as also major religious festivals.
