Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri

‘Ramakrishna Ashrama’ in Jalpaiguri was founded in 1928. It became a branch of the Ramakrishna Mission and was renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’ in 1941.

Activities:

1. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary with a physiotherapy section.

2. A students’ home.

3. A public library.

4. Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa and a coaching centre.

5. Cultural activities: Rath Yatra, youth conventions and values education programmes.

6. Welfare activities: Providing clothes, blankets and pecuniary, medical and educational aid.

7. Celebration of Durga Puja.
