Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Kalady

The ashrama was started in 1936 and made a branch of the Math in 1941.

Activities:

1. A higher secondary school (class 11 & 12).

2. A secondary school (class 8 to 10).

3. A Sanskrit upper primary school (class 5 to 7)

4. A junior basic school (class 1 to 4).

5. A nursery school (LKG & UKG).

6. A students’ home for boys.

7. A public library.

8. A computer centre.

9. A typewriting centre.

10. Values education programmes like personality development workshops, youth conventions and teachers’ seminars.

11. Welfare activities: Providing pecuniary and educational help.

12. Pandupara: This rural unit, situated 15 km away from the main centre, maintains a rubber plantation. Agricultural activities are carried out on 33 acres of land there.

Sub-centre at Muvattupuzha: Situated 35 km away from the main centre, this sub-centre conducts general religious activities.
