The ashrama was started in 1975 and made a branch centre in 1987.

Activities:

1. A high school (pre-KG to class 8).

2. A public library with 29,819 books and 40 periodicals.

3. A coaching centre for students.

4. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.

5. Twelve eye camps (screened patients and operated on for cataract), seven medical camps.

6. Four health awareness camps.

7. A Balak Sangha.

8. Yogasana classes.

9. Welfare activities: Providing food, buttermilk, educational kits, clothes, and pecuniary and medical assistance.
