Ramakrishna Math, Pala

Founded in 1926, this ashrama in Kerala was made a sub-centre under Thiruvalla branch in 1967. In 1977-78 it became a sub-centre under Thrissur branch and in 1987 it was given the status of a full-fledged branch of the Ramakrishna Math.

Activities:

1. A Sanskrit college (class 11 & 12, UG & PG).
2. Sanskrit classes and astrology classes on weekends.
3. Weekly Yoga classes.
4. A homeopathic-cum-ayurvedic dispensary.
5. Welfare activities: Providing food, educational kits, festival kits, and pecuniary, medical and educational aid.
6. Religious activities: Daily worship and bhajans, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, religious discourses, and celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
