This centre was started in 1927 and made a branch of the Mission in 1930.

Activities:

1. A public library with a separate section for children. It has 43,516 books and 152 periodicals.
2. A reading room for students preparing for various competitive examinations.
3. A coaching centre.
4. A computer centre.
5. Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
6. A children’s forum and youth forum.
7. Forty study circles in the Delhi NCR region.
8. An Institute of Languages and Culture: Courses in spoken English, French, Spanish, and Hindustani classical music.
9. A homeopathic-cum-ayurvedic dispensary.
10. A mobile medical unit.
11. Medical unit in Karol Bagh: (a) A TB clinic. Under the home treatment scheme, the clinic extended its medical services to patients who were unable to come to the clinic; (b) A medical centre providing specialist consultancy services.
12. A permanent exhibition and 3D animation film on the life and teaching of Swami Vivekananda, and a 4D film on the Kathopanishad.
13. Welfare activities: Providing food, blankets, and educational aid.
14. Celebration of Durga Puja and Kali Puja.
