Ramakrishna Saradashrama, Ponnampet

This centre in the famed Kodagu district of Karnataka was started in 1927.

Activities:

1. A 25-bed hospital which treated patients in the allopathic section and in the naturopathy section.

2. A vocational training centre offering training in tailoring.

3. A public library with books and periodicals.

4. Welfare activities: Providing pecuniary, medical, and educational aid.

5. Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, spiritual discourses, spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other spiritual luminaries.
