‘Taki Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sangha’ was established in 1931. It was made a branch of the Mission in 1938 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’.

Activities:

1. A high school (class 5 to 10).

2. A primary school (class 1 to 4).

3. A hostel for boys.

4. Units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa for underprivileged children.

5. Coaching centres supporting school students.

6. A homeopathic dispensary offering medical treatment.

7. A public library with books and periodicals.

8. Religious activities: Daily worship and prayer, spiritual discourses, retreats, and celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and the annual Annapurna Puja.

9. Welfare activities: Distribution of ration kits to needy people.
