Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Vadodara

The Mission centre was started in 2005 on Dilaram Bungalow premises, a place sanctified by the stay of Swami Vivekananda in 1892.
Activities:

1. A public library with 19,787 books and 20 periodicals.

2. Fifty values education programmes.

3. A coaching centre.

4. A computer training centre.

5. A dispensary with homeopathy, ayurveda, dental and eye departments.

6. A mobile medical unit.

7. Four eye camps.

8. Two study circles.

9. Four Bal Sanskar Kendras.

10. Welfare activities: Providing ration kits, clothes, household items and educational aid.

11. Religious activities: Daily worship and vesper service, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, religious discourses, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

The Math centre was started in January 2007 at Kalali, Vadodara (7 km from the Mission centre).
Activities:

1. A coaching centre.

2. Two vocational training centres offering courses in wellness, tailoring, mud work, etc.

3. Three Bal Sanskar Kendras.

4. Welfare activities: Providing rations and educational kits.

5. Religious activities: Daily worship and vesper service, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, religious discourses, spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
