Started by Swami Shivananda, a monastic disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, in 1902, this ashrama has for long served as a retreat for the aged monks of our order.

Activities:

  1. A public library with 22,982 books and 24 periodicals.
  2. Welfare work by way of providing clothes, blankets, and pecuniary and educational assistance.
