Vedanta Centre of Sydney
The centre was started in 1990 and affiliated to the Ramakrishna Math in 2000. Swami Sridharananda is its Minister-in-charge.
Activities:
- Daily worship, evening arati, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, singing of devotional songs and scriptural classes.
- Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and major religious festivals.
- An online bookstore.
- Publication of Reach, a quarterly newsletter.
- Counselling sessions.
- Yoga classes and cultural programmes.
The Vedanta Society has five chapters or sub-centres.
