Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Faridpur

The centre was started in 1921 and made an affiliate of the Ramakrishna Mission in 1934.

Activities:

1. A primary school.

2. A chatushpathi (Sanskrit school).

3. A students’ home for college and tribal students.

4. A bookstore.

5. Welfare work by way of providing food, clothes, etc. to the needy, and educational and pecuniary help to poor and meritorious students.

6. Daily worship and bhajans, scriptural classes, and Japa Yajna.

7. Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
