Ramakrishna Ashrama and Ramakrishna Mission Seva Samiti, Habiganj, Bangladesh

The Ashrama (Math centre) was started in 1921.

Activities of the Math Centre:

1. Daily worship, bhajans and religious classes, and occasional lectures.

2. Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

The Seva Samiti was affiliated to the Ramakrishna Mission in 1926.

Activities of the Mission Centre:

1. A students’ home.

2. A library with 2605 books.

3. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.

4. A music school.

5. Welfare work: Providing pecuniary help and scholarships.
