Ramakrishna Ashrama and Ramakrishna Mission, Jashore (Jessore)

The Ashrama, started in 1936, was affiliated to the Ramakrishna Math in 2012. An affiliate of the Ramakrishna Mission was started there in the same year.

Activities of the Math centre: Daily worship, bhajans, weekly religious classes, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

Activities of the Mission centre:

1. A students’ home.

2. A library.

3. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.

4. Two coaching centres.

5. Welfare activities: Providing blankets, winter garments, ration kits, and pecuniary, educational, and medical assistance.

Sub-centres:

Ramakrishna Ashrama, Narail: Established in 1928, affiliated in 2014, and made a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Jashore.
Activities: Daily worship, bhajans, religious classes, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

Ramakrishna Mission, Narail: A sub-centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Jashore, started in 2014.
Activities:

1. A students’ home.

2. A primary school.

3. A dispensary.

4. Welfare activities: Providing medical assistance.
