Ramakrishna Ashrama and Ramakrishna Mission, Jashore (Jessore)

The Ashrama, started in 1936, was affiliated to the Ramakrishna Math in 2012. An affiliate of the Ramakrishna Mission was started there in the same year.

Activities of the Math centre:

• Daily worship and bhajans, and weekly religious classes.
• Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and major religious festivals.

Activities of the Mission centre:

• A students’ home.
• A library.
• An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.
• Two coaching centres.
• Welfare work by way of providing blankets, winter garments, ration kits and pecuniary, educational and medical assistance.

Sub-centres:

Ramakrishna Ashrama, Narail: Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Narail, was established in 1928. It was affliated in 2014 and made a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Jashore.

Activities of Ashrama Sub-centre:

• Daily worship, bhajans and religious classes.
• Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and major religious festivals.

Ramakrishna Mission, Narail: A sub-centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Jashore, was started at Narail in 2014.

Activities of Mission Sub-centre:

• A students’ home.
• A primary school.
• Welfare work by way of providing medical assistance.
