Ramakrishna Ashrama and Ramakrishna Mission, Jashore (Jessore)

The Ashrama, started in 1936, was affiliated to the Ramakrishna Math in 2012. An affiliate of the Ramakrishna Mission was started there in the same year.

Activities of the Math Centre:

1. Daily worship and bhajans, and weekly religious classes.

2. Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

Activities of the Mission Centre:

1. A students’ home.

2. A library with 1725 books.

3. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.

4. Two coaching centres.

5. Welfare work by way of providing blankets, winter garments, ration kits, and pecuniary, educational and medical assistance.

Ramakrishna Ashrama, Narail:

Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Narail, was established in 1928, affiliated in 2014, and made a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Ashrama, Jashore.

Activities:

1. Daily worship, bhajans, and religious classes.

A sub-centre of Ramakrishna Mission, Jashore, started at Narail in 2014.

Activities:

1. A students’ home.

2. A primary school.

3. Welfare work by way of providing medical assistance.
