Centre Vedantique Ramakrishna, Gretz, France

This centre of the Ramakrishna Mission was started in Paris in 1937 and later moved to its present home in Gretz, about 30 km from Paris. Swami Atmarupananda is its Swami Délégué (President).

Activities:

1. Weekly Sanskrit classes.

2. Special summer courses on subjects like art, philosophy, the art of right living, yoga, and so on.

3. Publication of Vedanta, a quarterly magazine, a newsletter, and books in French.

4. Agricultural activities like growing vegetables and beekeeping.

5. Courses on Ayurveda.

6. Religious activities: Regular worship, meditation and prayer, retreats, seminars, meditation classes, interfaith meetings, interviews for spiritual guidance, and celebration of holy days with worship.
