Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre, Lusaka, Zambia

The centre was founded in 1967. It functioned as an affiliate of the Ramakrishna Mission for about a year in 2002 and was re-affiliated with the Mission in 2016. Swami Guneshananda was the Secretary and Spiritual Director of the centre till October 2023.

Activities:

• Daily chanting and vesper service, and fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan.
• Celebration of major religious festivals and the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other spiritual luminaries.
• Weekly religious discourses, and lectures on various occasions.
• Spiritual retreats and inter-religious meetings.
• Welfare work by providing food, clothes, blankets and scholarships.
