Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Gurap

Sri Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Gurap, was started in 1981 on the birthplace of Swami Vishuddhananda, the 8th President of the Math & Mission. It was made a branch of the Mission in 2016 under the name ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’.

Activities:

1. Monthly homeopathy and allopathic camps.

2. Monthly eye camps.

3. A vocational training centre which trained women in tailoring.

4. A computer training centre.

5. Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.

6. A youth cell.

7. Religious activities: Daily worship, weekly classes, celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

8. Welfare activities: Providing clothes, blankets, pecuniary aid, and educational help etc.
