Ramakrishna Math (Shyampukur Bati), Kolkata

This centre is located in the house where Sri Ramakrishna stayed for 70 days in 1885 before moving to Cossipore. The house is also sanctified by the stay of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and the monastic disciples of Sri Ramakrishna. It was acquired by the Ramakrishna Math in 2010. Ramakrishna Math (Shyampukur Bati) was started as a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math (Balaram Mandir). It was made a full-fledged branch centre in 2017.

Activities:

1. A homeopathic dispensary.

2. A public library.

3. Welfare work: Provided ration kits, clothes, blankets, and pecuniary aid.
