Ramakrishna Mission, Kasundia, Howrah

Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, Howrah, was founded in 1916. The ashrama was made a branch of the Mission in 2019 under the name ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

• A dispensary.
• A public library. 
• Welfare activities: Daily feeding of poor people and providing educational help, medical help, pecuniary help and blankets.
• Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan, weekly religious classes, occasional lectures, spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
