Ramakrishna Math, Basavanagudi (Bengaluru) centre was running a rural unit at Venkatapura village for a few years. This rural unit is upgraded to a full-fledged branch of the Ramakrishna Math in May 2023.
Activities of the centre:
- Monthly medical camps.
- Two spiritual retreats for local devotees and one for school students.
- Religious classes, bhajans, etc and celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
- Welfare work by way of providing food and clothes to nearby village women.
