Employees of the Headquarters and/or branches of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math who were members of RKM Provident Fund, Belur Math and who ceased to be in employment for a period of 120 months or more are hereby notified to register claim on ‘Unclaimed’ Balances in his/her Provident Fund account. The concerned employee(s) or his/her legitimate claimant(s) are requested to submit claim form with all necessary documents/evidence in support of the claim to the respective branch centre(s)/Headquarters, where the person(s) was/were employed, for onward submission to us within 60 days of publication of this notice. Failing which, the ‘Unclaimed Balance’ shall be transferred to an Employees Welfare Fund which shall be utilized for the welfare of the employees of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. Display of this notice in the official Website of Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math shall be deemed to be due intimation served as per statutory provisions. Notice : Offerings for Durga Puja at Belur Math

NOTICE

The devotees are inquiring about sending offerings (dhoti, sari, pranami, etc.) for the Durga Puja. In view of such inquiry, the devotees are made aware of the following norms to enable them to deposit the items at the Belur Math:

1. There will be a counter near the main gate, where the devotees will be able to deposit the items brought by them.
2. The counter will remain open only on the Sundays, the timings being 9.00 to 11.00 a.m. and from 3.30 to 5.30 p.m.
3. Two persons will be allowed to come to the counter at a time.
4. At the entry point, each person will be checked by thermal gun and will be given hand sanitizer.
5. Each person must put on mask.
6. This system will start from the next Sunday, 6 September 2020.

বিজ্ঞপ্তি

দুর্গাপূজা উপলক্ষে ভক্তগণ বিভিন্ন জিনিস (ধুতি, শাড়ি, প্রণামী, ইত্যাদি) নিবেদনের জন্য নানা ভাবে খোঁজখবর করছেন। তাঁরা যাতে ঐসকল দ্রব্যাদি বেলুড় মঠে দিয়ে যেতে পারেন তার জন্য ভক্তগণকে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে—

১)  বেলুড় মঠের প্রধান প্রবেশদ্বারের নিকটে একটি কাউন্টার-এ  ভক্তগণ উক্ত দ্রব্যাদি জমা দিতে পারবেন।

২) এই কাউন্টার-টি রবিবারে খোলা থাকবে—সকাল ৯টা থেকে ১১টা পর্যন্ত এবং বিকাল ৩.৩০টা থেকে ৫.৩০টা পর্যন্ত।

৩) একসঙ্গে ২ জনকে কাউন্টার-এ আসতে দেওয়া হবে।

৪) প্রবেশদ্বারে প্রত্যেককে থারমাল গান দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করা হবে এবং হ্যান্ড স্যানিটাইজার দেওয়া হবে।

৫) প্রত্যেককে মাস্ক পরে আসতে হবে।

৬) এই ব্যবস্থা শুরু হবে আগামী ৬ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২০ থেকে।

Notice : Precautionary Steps to Fight Coronavirus at Belur Math

In the wake of global outbreak of coronavirus, the following measures are taken at Belur Math to stop the spread of the virus:

1. Devotees will not be allowed to sit inside or gather in large numbers inside Sri Ramakrishna Temple; they may offer pranams to Sri Ramakrishna and come out quickly.
2. During the evening Arati (vesper service), the devotees will not be allowed inside the temple. They may watch the Arati on the giant LED screens installed on the campus.
3. Distribution of noon-prasad for devotees has been discontinued, until further notice.
4. Darshan (Pranam) of Revered President Maharaj has been suspended until further notice.
5. No Mantra-Diksha (spiritual initiation) will be held at Belur Math until further notice. All enquiries regarding Mantra Diksha will be entertained after 14 April 2020.
6. Ramakrishna Sangraha Mandir (Museum) will remain closed until further notice.
7. All scheduled programmes at the Cultural Hall has been suspended until further notice.
8. The general advisory for public safety issued by the Government has been displayed in a number of places on the Belur Math premises.  The advisory may please be followed.

Covid-19 Outbreak - Relief Activities

  In the wake of the lockdown owing to the global pandemic caused by the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) there has been a severe disruption in normal day to day activities. The Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission have initiated relief services in different parts of the country and abroad to meet the pressing need of the afflicted, specially the poor and needy, through a number of its branch centres. The Headquarters and many other centres conducted awareness campaign through putting up display boards, posters and distribution of leaflets. Pune and Kozhikode centres are providing temporary shelter and cooked food to stranded labourers from different states inside their campus. Face masks, hand sanitizers and soaps are being distributed by Saradapitha, Baranagar Mission, Darjeeling, Ranchi-Morabadi, Limbdi, Kothar, Vijayawada and Chennai (T. Nagar) in 6 states. Packed dry food items like rice, dal, salt, cooking oil, biscuits, etc. are being distributed by Baghbazar (Mayerbari), Saradapitha (Belur), Darjeeling, Ramharipur, Jhargram, Rishikesh and Cherrapunji (Sohra). Cooked food is being distributed by Delhi, Coimbatore Math and Vrindaban centres. Many more centres have informed that they are going to start relief-work very soon. As such, steps are being taken to extend the relief activities further. In this connection, it may specially be noted that our centre at Cherrapunji (Sohra) of Meghalaya has undertaken the responsibilities of rendering relief-services all over the state. Isolation wings are also being set-up at our hospital centres in Ranchi, Varanasi, Vrindaban, Ponnampet, Seva Pratisthan (Kolkata), Kankhal (Haridwar) and Thiruvananthapuram with the help of the respective state governments. PRESS RELEASE

Reopening of our centres, including Belur Math, for visitors

  Pursuant to and in compliance with the various lockdown measures undertaken by both the Central and State Governments through Orders, Advisories and Guidelines, the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission had closed all its centers, including its Headquarters at Belur Math to the public on and from 24th March, 2020. By an order dated 30th May 2020 passed by the Union Home Secretary, Government of India, Religious places / places of worship for public have been permitted to reopen on and from 8th June 2020 with certain conditions to be laid down by the Central Government. The State Government, meanwhile, has already laid down certain conditions for reopening. The easing down of the lockdown measures, by no means, indicate a return to normalcy as the threat of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 continues to persist. We understand that visitors/devotees are eager to resume their visits to and pay respects physically at the Holy Shrines of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Ma Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda at Belur Math and also to our centers spread across the country. Simultaneously it is of paramount importance to ensure that such visits, which will mean presence of multiple persons at one place, do not pose a threat to the visitors' health and well-being. We believe that the cultivation of spirituality and scientific temper must go hand in hand. Therefore, it is imperative for us to consult experts and put in place adequate infrastructure and equipment to secure the safety of visitors before reopening our centres, including Belur Math. As we are still in the process of making the necessary arrangements, all centers of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, including Belur Math, shall continue to remain closed for the time being and shall reopen for visitors on and from 15th June, 2020. Visiting hours for the devotees/visitors coming to Belur Math and the precautions required to be adopted by all shall be intimated in due course of time. We request all devotees/admirers/friends/pilgrims/visitors to kindly bear with us and cooperate accordingly.
