Ramakrishna Ashrama and Ramakrishna Mission, Bagerhat, Bangladesh

The Ashrama (Math centre) was started in 1926.

Activities of the Math Centre:

1. Daily worship, prayers, and bhajans.

2. Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious luminaries, as well as other religious festivals.

3. Religious discourses in the ashrama and elsewhere.

The Mission centre was started in 2012.

Activities of the Mission Centre:

1. A students’ home.

2. A computer training centre.

3. A library with a good collection of books.

4. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.

5. A publication department and a bookstore.

6. Welfare activities: Providing food items, blankets, clothes, and pecuniary and educational aid.
