Ramakrishna Math and Mission Centre was started in 1915 (Math) and 1951 (Mission).

Activities of the Math centre:

  • Welfare activities: Providing food and pecuniary aid

  • Celebration of Durga Puja

Activities of the Mission centre:

  • Junior basic school (class 1 to 4)

  • English-medium primary school (class 1 to 5)

  • Seven coaching centres for poor children

  • Allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary

  • Eye camps

  • Welfare activities: Providing clothes, winter garments, and medical & educational aid
