Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kankhal

The Math centre was started in 1980.

The Mission centre was founded in Haridwar in 1901 to provide medical care to ailing monks and pilgrims who visit this pilgrimage place.
Activities:

1. A 190-bed hospital with departments of medicine, surgery, TB, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, diabetes, ENT and physiotherapy, and diagnostic facilities such as X-ray, ECG, USG, CT scan, and pathology and microbiology laboratories.

2. An outpatient department, including dentistry, physiotherapy and ophthalmology.

3. A mobile medical unit.

4. Welfare activities: Providing food, winter clothes, and medical help in the form of insulin, blood, and medicines.
