The centre was started in 1916.


  • A free coaching centre with 129 students (including computer training to 79 students).
  • A free students’ home with 4 students.
  • A charitable homeopathic dispensary (14,335 cases treated during the year).
  • Monthly free eye camps (200 patients treated during the year).
  • A small library with 1524 books and 35 newspapers and periodicals.
  • Welfare work by way of providing clothes, blankets, food grains and pecuniary help to the needy, and textbooks and notebooks to poor students.
  • Daily worship and regular religious classes.
  • Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other religious personalities, as also Kali Puja and Annapurna Puja.
