Ramakrishna Math (Gadadhar Ashrama), Kolkata

The ashrama was started in 1920. It officially became a branch centre of the Ramakrishna Math in 1997.

Activities:                 

1. A computer training centre with 20 students.
2. A public library with 6294 books.
3. A homeopathic dispensary that (treated 1067 patients).
4. Welfare activities: Providing food, clothes, winter garments, pecuniary help and educational aid.
5. Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, religious discourses, celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and spiritual luminaries, and other religious festivals.
