This earliest Math centre in Kerala was founded in 1913 and was being managed by an independent committee since then, except for a few years in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Its management was taken over by the Ramakrishna Math in 2008.
Activities:
- Religious activities: Daily worship, religious lectures, celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other spiritual luminaries, and major religious festivals.
- Welfare activities: Providing food, clothes and pecuniary, medical and educational assistance.
