This earliest Math centre in Kerala was started in 1913 and was being managed by an independent committee since then, except for a few years in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Its management was taken over by the Ramakrishna Math in 2008.

- Values education programmes in 8 schools attended by 1044 students.
- Celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other spiritual luminaries.
- Welfare work by way of providing pecuniary help to the needy and educational help to students.
