The ashrama was started in 1915.

Activities:

  1. A unit of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
  2. A library.
  3. Welfare work by providing scholarships, dresses, educational kits consisting of textbooks, notebooks, pens, etc to poor students, hygienic kits and pecuniary aid and distribution of solar lamps and foodstuff to the needy.
  4. Regular worship, lectures, spiritual retreats and celebration of the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other spiritual luminaries, celebration of Onam and Vishu.
