Ramakrishna Math, Mekhliganj

Founded in 1957, the ashrama was taken over by the Ramakrishna Math in 2004 and was made a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math, Cooch Behar. It was made a full-fledged branch in 2015.

Activities:

• A primary school (nursery to class 5).
• A public library.
• An eye camp and a blood donation camp.
• Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, religious discourses, occasional spiritual retreats and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious prophets and major religious festivals.
• Welfare activities: Distribution of food, clothes, winter garments, educational kits and mosquito nets.
