Ramakrishna Math, Mekhliganj

Founded in 1957, the ashrama was taken over by the Ramakrishna Math in 2004 and was made a sub-centre of Ramakrishna Math, Cooch Behar. It was made a full-fledged branch in 2015.

Activities:

1. A primary school (class 1 to 5).

2. A public library with 330 books.

3. Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, religious discourses, bhakta sammelans, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.

4. Welfare activities: Distribution of food, hygiene kits, mosquito nets, and educational kits.
