This centre was founded in 1928.

Activities:

  1. Publication of Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature in Hindi and Marathi. The total number of titles: 517.
  2. Publication of the Marathi monthly, Jivan Vikas (64th year).
  3. A library and a reading room with 58,555 books, and 142 newspapers and periodicals.
  4. A students’ home with 50 college students.
  5. Educational and cultural competitions for school students.
  6. A physiotherapy unit.
  7. A homeopathic dispensary at Indora, a backward locality.
  8. A mobile medical unit.
  9. Occasional eye camps.
  10. Weekly scriptural discourses and lectures in Nagpur and elsewhere. A three-day spiritual retreat for devotees.
  11. Conventions for college students, devotees and admirers.
  12. Welfare work by way of distributing school uniforms and educational kits to the poor and needy students; food, clothes, hygiene kits to people in slum areas.
  13. Regular worship and celebration of the birth anniversaries of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other spiritual luminaries.
