The centre was started in 1927 and made a branch of the Ramakrishna Math in 2019.
Activities:
- A vocational training centre with tailoring.
- A homeopathic dispensary.
- Religious activities: Daily worship, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, spiritual retreats, religious lectures, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other festivals.
- Welfare activities: Distribution of food and blankets.
