Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan), Kankurgachhi, Kolkata

This centre was founded in 1883 by Sri Ram Chandra Dutta, a distinguished disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, and is sanctified by Sri Ramakrishna. It was made a branch of the Math in 1997.

Activities:

1. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary (treated a significant number of patients).

2. A Balak Sangha with children.

3. A computer training centre with students.

4. A public library with 9636 books and 13 periodicals.

5. Welfare activities: Providing clothes, mosquito nets, and pecuniary, medical, and educational aid.

6. Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, religious classes, occasional lectures, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
