Ramakrishna Math (Yogodyan), Kankurgachhi, Kolkata

This centre was founded in 1883 by Sri Ram Chandra Dutta, a distinguished disciple of Sri Ramakrishna, and was sanctified by Sri Ramakrishna’s visit. It was made a branch of the Math in 1997.

Activities:

• An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.
• A Balak Sangha.
• A computer training centre.
• A public library.
• Welfare activities: Providing winter garments, clothes, mosquito nets and medical and educational aid.
• Religious activities: Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan, religious classes, occasional lectures, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other festivals.
