The ashrama was started in 1912 and taken over in 1924.
Activities:

1. A higher secondary school (class 11 & 12).

2. A secondary school (class 5 to 10).

3. A primary school (class 1 to 4).

4. A unit of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.

5. A public library with 19,091 books.

6. A homeopathic dispensary.

7. A mobile medical unit.

8. Eye camps.

9. Welfare activities: Providing pecuniary, medical and educational aid.

10. Religious activities: Daily worship, Gita chanting, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, regular religious discourses, and observation of major religious festivals and the birthdays of the Holy Trio.
