Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Faridpur

The centre was started in 1921 and made a branch of the Ramakrishna Mission in 1934.

Activities:

• A primary school.
• A chatushpathi (Sanskrit school).
• A students’ home.
• A bookstore.
• Welfare work by way of providing food, clothes, etc to the needy and educational and pecuniary help to poor and meritorious students.
• Daily worship and bhajans, scriptural classes and Japa Yajna.
• Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and major religious festivals.
