Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Gurap

Sri Ramakrishna Sevashrama, Gurap, was started in 1981 on the birthplace of Swami Vishuddhananda, the 8th President of the Math & Mission. It was made a branch of the Mission in 2016 under the name ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’.

Activities:

• Monthly homeopathy and allopathic camps.
• Monthly  eye  camps.
• A vocational training centre with tailoring and computer operations.
• Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
• A youth cell.
• Religious activities: Daily worship, weekly classes, celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and major religious festivals.
• Welfare activities: Providing clothes, blankets and pecuniary aid.
