Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kailashahar

Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Kailashahar, was started in 1929. It became a branch of the Mission in 2015 under the name ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’.

Activities:

1. A pre-primary school.

2. A students’ home for tribal boys.

3. Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.

4. A coaching centre where students were also provided with food, educational kits, uniforms and medical aid.

5. A weekly study circle.

6. A weekly dispensary, one eye camp, and a blood donation camp that collected 52 units of blood.

7. Welfare activities: Distribution of clothes and blankets.

8. Religious activities: Daily prayers, religious discourses, occasional spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
