Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Kailashahar

Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Kailashahar, was started in 1929. It became a branch of the Mission in 2015 under the name ‘Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama’.

Activities:

1. A primary school (nursery to class 4)

2. A students’ home for tribal boys.

3. Two units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.

4. A coaching centre where students were also provided with food, educational kits, uniforms and medical aid.

5. A weekly study circle.

6. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary with ayurveda section. A medical camp and a blood donation camp.

7. Welfare activities: Distribution of clothes and blankets.
