Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Puri

The ashrama was started in 1944.

Activities:

• A students’ home.
• A computer training centre.
• Eleven coaching centres.
• A public library.
• Three units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
• A mobile medical unit.
• Welfare activities: Providing ration kits, clothes, blankets and pecuniary and educational aid.
• Religious activities: Daily worship, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, spiritual discourses, and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and major religious festivals.
