This centre in West Bengal was started in 1952 and made a branch of the Mission in 1966.
Activities:
- A secondary school (class 5 to 10).
- A students’ home.
- Eight coaching centres.
- Three non-formal education centres.
- Seven units of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.
- An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.
- Welfare activities: Providing clothes, milk, blankets and pecuniary, medical and educational aid, as also assistance in house repair.
- Religious activities: Daily worship, religious classes, spiritual retreats, and celebration of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Trio and major religious festivals.
Sub-centre:
Amarkanan Sri Ramakrishna Sevadal Ashrama was founded in 1924. It was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2020, renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’ and made a sub-centre of Ramharipur centre.
Activities:
- A Students’ hostel.
- A tailoring training unit.
- A homeopathic dispensary.
- Welfare activities: Distribution of clothes and blankets.
- Daily worship and celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio.
