Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Sylhet

The centre was started in 1916 and made an affiliate of the Ramakrishna Mission in 1926.

Activities:

1. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary.

2. A students’ home.

3. A library with 4710 books.

4. Seminars and cultural programmes.

5. Welfare activities: Providing clothes, blankets, and educational aid.

6. Daily worship, Ramnam Sankirtan on Ekadashi days, and weekly religious classes.

7. Celebration of the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other religious festivals.
