Ramakrishna Mission, Jaipur

Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, the precursor of this centre, was started in 1978. It was made a branch of the Mission in 1988 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

• An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary with ophthalmology & orthopaedics departments.
• A mobile medical unit.
• A medical camp.
• Balak Sangha, a cultural unit.
• A public library and reading rooms.
• Religious activities: Daily worship and bhajans, weekly religious discourses, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, celebration of major religious festivals and the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other spiritual luminaries.
• Welfare activities: Providing winter garments.
