Ramakrishna Mission, Jaipur

Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, the precursor of this centre, was started in 1978. It was made a branch of the Mission in 1988 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

1. An allopathic-cum-homeopathic dispensary with ophthalmology & orthopaedics departments.

2. A mobile medical unit.

3. Balak Sangha, a cultural unit.

4. A public library with 8809 books and two reading rooms.

5. Religious activities: Daily worship and bhajans, weekly religious discourses, fortnightly Ramnam Sankirtan, celebration of major religious festivals and the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other spiritual luminaries.

6. Welfare activities: Distribution of blankets.
