Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu

Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Jammu, was founded in 1964. It was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2000 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

1. A dispensary with a physiotherapy section.

2. Twenty-one medical camps, six dental camps, five ENT camps and nine eye camps.

3. A public library.

4. A study circle.

5. A unit of Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa.

6. A coaching centre.

7. Welfare activities: Providing rice, winter garments, and pecuniary, medical and educational aid.
