Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu

Ramakrishna Advaita Ashrama, Jammu, was founded in 1964. It was taken over by the Ramakrishna Mission in 2000 and renamed ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.

Activities:

• A dispensary.
• Medical camps.
• A public library.
• A study circle.
• Yoga classes.
• A students’ home.
• Welfare activities: Providing rice, winter garments and medical and educational aid.
• Religious activities: Daily worship and bhajans, weekly discourses, occasional spiritual retreats and celebration of major religious festivals and the birthdays of the Holy Trio and other spiritual luminaries.
