Ramakrishna Mission, Kasundia, Howrah

Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama, Howrah, was founded in 1916. The ashrama was made a branch of the Mission in 2019 under the name ‘Ramakrishna Mission’.
Activities:

1. A dispensary.

2. A public library.

3. A vocational training centre offering courses in tailoring, handicraft, physiotherapy.

4. Welfare activities: Daily feeding of poor people and providing educational help, pecuniary help, clothes and blankets.

5. Celebration of Durga Puja.
